Intensive Care
This is continuous care that assists in relieving acute medical symptoms. The care keeps patients at home and out of hospital. The care happens during brief periods of crisis, as medically needed. One example would be if the patient needs constant checks by a nurse, hospice aides will come to home in shifts of up to 24 hours a day.
